We stand behind the quality of our products. All Looki L1 devices are covered by a limited warranty that protects you from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Warranty Coverage
The Looki L1 comes with a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of delivery. If you purchased your device in the EU or EFTA countries, the warranty period is extended to two (2) years, in compliance with local regulations.
This warranty applies only to Looki products purchased directly from Looki.ai or an authorized reseller. Proof of purchase is required to submit any warranty claim.
What’s Covered
During the warranty period, we will repair or replace your device, free of charge, if it experiences any of the following under normal use:
- Hardware malfunctions due to manufacturing defects
- Failures caused by faulty components or materials
- Non-user-caused internal electrical issues
- Functional issues that prevent the device from operating as intended
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, drops, or improper use
- Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage not affecting product functionality
- Water or moisture damage
- Issues caused by using third-party accessories or software
- Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair attempts
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., battery degradation over time)
- Any loss of data stored on the device
If the product has been returned with tampered serial numbers, altered labels, or missing parts, the warranty will be void.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email us at support@looki.ai. Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the problem
- A copy of your purchase receipt
- Review & Return: Our team will assess your request and let you know whether your product is eligible for repair or replacement. If eligible, we’ll send you a prepaid return label for you to ship the product back to us.
- Inspection & Processing: After receiving your returned product, we’ll inspect it.
- If the issue is covered, we’ll repair or replace the unit at no cost.
- If the issue is not covered, we’ll notify you and offer return options (may be at your expense).
- Refund (if applicable): In certain cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, we may offer a partial or full refund, depending on the situation.
Important Notes
- Please back up and remove any personal data before sending your device. We are not responsible for data loss.
- The replacement product may be new, refurbished, or equivalent in functionality.
- The warranty does not extend beyond the original coverage period, even if the product is repaired or replaced.
- If a product is found to be ineligible for warranty service and return shipping is not prepaid within 30 days, we reserve the right to dispose of it.
